The Boiler uses water and a fuel to create steam. This steam is then used in a Steam Turbine to produce power.
The usable fuel types are:

Fuel Use
Each Steam Turbine requires 360 Litres per second (L/s) of steam to operate at its maximum output power of 3.6MW. A Boiler is capable of supplying 360L/s of steam, so for every Steam Turbine, you only need one Boiler.
The Boiler requires 3.6MJ/s to achieve this and the below table outlines the different fuels and their burn rates to maintain 360L/s of steam.
