The Small Solar Panel is a power production building that needs to be connected to the High Voltage Grid.


It will start producing Power at 8:00 and stop at 19:00.
The small Solar Panel will start at 100kW production at 8:00 and slowly ramp up Power linearly to 300kW at 11:00.
At  16:00 Power will start to ramp down linearly again ending at 100kW at 19:00.
This means that the average Power Output of one Small Solar Panel over a full day is 112,5kW.
This average can be used over the full day using a Battery
To calculate the Battery Capacity:
1 MW is 1MJ/real life second
One Ingame day with 24 hours is 30 real life minutes = 1800s = 75s per ingame hour.
The Power has to be delivered for about 14 hours by the Battery.
112,5kW * 14 hours *75 seconds per hour = 1118125kJ = 118MJ
This means a small Battery (250MJ) can average out the Power of 2 Small Solar Panels.
and a Large Battery (1000MJ) can average out about 8 Small Solar Panels.
