The Space Station initially begins with 10 MW of power and 25 Construction Drones. Additional power is obtained from either Solar Panels and / or the Reactor upgrades. Additional Construction Drones reduce the Expected time for each upgrade and are obtained from the Construction Drone Bay upgrades.

Note 1: All Expected Times for Station Upgrades are the baseline with no Construction Drone Bay upgrades.

Note 2: It is possible to soft-lock your game if you do not do the Basic Hanger Repairs prior to consuming all 1,500 of the initial Construction Materials. Without the Hanger for ships, you are not able to perform purchases on the Galactic Market to obtain additional Construction Materials, nor are you able to provide Firmalite bars to the planet to research, create and deliver your own.

Hull

The Hull represents the outer structure keeping the Space Station together.

Construction Drone Bay

This module houses construction drones which are used to build new Space Station modules. More drones make the construction complete faster.

Note 1: Each upgrade increases the drone count by 25. Expected time is calculated as <Baseline time> / (<drone count> / 25). For example, initially the Expected time for the Reactor's Full Repairs construction task is 48 minutes with 25 drones. After the first Repair Construction Drone Bay task is completed, the drone count rises to 50 and the new Expected time drops in half to 24 minutes. Completing the Construction Drone Bay Extension 1 upgrade increases the drone count to 75, which then drops the Expected time to one third of the original 48 minutes down to 16 minutes.

Note 2: The Improve Construction Drones upgrade can be completed infinitely, although the Power requirements and Costs increase each time. Each upgrade also has diminishing returns, since it is an inverse 1/x function.

Solar Panels

Solar panels are used to generate more energy

Note: The Extend Solar Panels construction task can be repeated infinitely, each time adding 50 MW of additional power to the Space Station with increasing costs and time.
