Drone Miner I is the first-level resource extraction machine. The player starts the game with the knowledge of how to build this machine.
The Drone Miner houses 4 drones that travel up to a range of 6 to a raw resource voxel, extract a unit of resource, and return to the Drone Miner where they deposit it and recharge. The time required to recharge and to extract the resource are fixed but travel time is variable and depends on distance.
The extracted resources may be manually removed from the Drone Miner using the Control Panel or automatically placed on a belt using an attached 
Loader.
